ATLANTA – September 20, 2007 – Atlanta-based Grill Ventures, Inc has signed a lease with Baltimore’s Pier 5 Hotel to open an independent My Panini restaurant on-site. My Panini will join Ruth’s Chris and McCormick & Schmick’s in the only waterfront boutique hotel property located on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, a renowned tourist destination. The 2,500 square foot restaurant is set to open in January 2008, but will offer off-site catering beginning November 1, 2007 by operating from the hotel’s kitchen during a restaurant renovation.

The My Panini specialty restaurants compete in the quick-casual segment, the restaurant industry’s strongest growth category. My Panini will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and offer off-site catering seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., along with weekend brunch. Indoor seating capacity is planned at approximately 65 seats, plus a beer and wine bar. Additional seating and another bar are being designed for the 1,000 square foot deck overlooking the harbor. Following the brand model, My Panini will seek Green Restaurant Certification, which it received for the first My Panini restaurant at Lindbergh City Center in Atlanta.
